Julie
“I love serving our patients and learning about their families. Since assisting Dr. Hannon for almost 20 years, many of our patients have become my favorites. One patient in particular said she avoided cameras and photos because she didn’t like her front teeth. Now that we have helped her improve her smile, she’s making memories again in photos with her family and friends.”
As an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) with X-ray certification, Julie is flexible and performs various tasks that help make patients’ visits more comfortable.
Julie and her husband live in Portage and enjoy visiting their granddaughters Molly and Clare. Julie and her husband are also active volunteers with their church family and regularly serve their community.

Vicki is our dental hygienist who has been with Dr. Hannon for 7 years. She has 19 years of experience in general, cosmetic and periodontal offices. She is committed to helping her patients achieve and maintain overall health.
Vicki is married . She has two daughters who keep her very busy with swimming and travel softball. Vicki and her family reside in Chesterton.

Dr. Laura Hannon

With over 30 years of experience in preventative and restorative dentistry, Dr. Laura Hannon is a skilled dentist who can meet any of your oral health needs. She graduated from Drake University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Hannon is a Pride Institute Alumn and has been a member of the Crown Council for five years. She has also been a member of both the American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society for each of the 30 years she has been practicing dentistry. In addition, she has committed herself to providing her patients with the most up-to-date technologies and procedures available and regularly attends continuing education courses throughout the country.
Dr. Hannon prides herself on being a curious listener, a gentle dentist, and a calming influence which makes her patients’ visits relaxing and comfortable.
Dr. Laura Hannon enjoys reading, running, fiber arts, skiing, and yoga. She is married, lives in Ogden Dunes, and is the mother of three adult children, “I am excited to see the challenges and opportunities my children are tackling. Their growth and shared knowledge enhances me as a person and as a dentist.”
Chris

Chris joined Dr. Hannon’s team in June of 2011 as our Patient Financial Coodinator. She is able to help you in many ways to make your visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible. In 2003, she graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Chris has worked in the dental field since 2008, and became X-ray certified in 2010. Prior to working in dental, Chris worked in the financial & insurance industry for nearly 10 years.
Chris and her husband Ted live in Valparaiso with their youngest son Austin. Chris’ oldest son, Nathan, is in the Army. Outside of the office Chris enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

This award was presented for ‘Consistently providing high-quality service and continually exceeding customer expectations.’ Nominations for this award were made by many patients and business associates in the area. Dr. Laura Hannon’s office was praised for maintaining a high standard of care with overall health at the forefront, and for the numerous contributions of her time and financial resources for charity groups and events.
